Children Update

OK so Shawnee told me that I was a silly goose, I told her that i wasnot a silly goose that she was a silly goose. She replied with "no, I not a silly goose your a silly goose. I gave her a look and she said, "your not a silly goose I a silly goose! I just love for she is pretty quick witted she must get that from he Uncle Alex!! SHawnee is potty training and is a bit of a battle. some days are really good and then others she doesn't care. I think it is just here way of taking control of a situation. She is Miss Independnet!! She is Hysterical! Never a dull moment when she is around.

Now what Kayson is up too! He is growing up so fast. He rolls all over the place from one side of the room to the other. He is really trying to crawl. He has found that he can get on his knees and throw himslef forward repeatedly faster than he can crawl. He has been sitting up for quite a while but know he can put himself in sitting position. He is growing up so fast. I can not believe that he is going to be 7 months old this week. Time flies by even faster when you have two kids. He talks are the time he has started the dadadada thing but doesn't know who dadada is yet. Soon though. He has a personallity like his sister. I have two peas in a pod. Maybe the raising them thing will get easier. I love motherhood!!!

2 YEAR OLD FUN!!

Ok so this is the life with 2 year old Shawnee!
This all happened this week
First on Monday I asked her to go and get a diaper and she went to get it and I hear a huge crash and then a scream I took off running to her aid and then i heard silence. I look in her room and the dresser is laying out on the floor and no Shawnee I threw the dresser up breaking it at the smae time. There she was laying in the fetal positiondoing one of those silent crys. Those scare me anyways. She is ok lived through but not sure the dresser is going to make it. We will see Dayne is going to try and get it fixed. SHawnee did gert some nasty bruises and scratches on her leg, arm, and foot though. Then that very same day she was sitting at the top of the stairs and fell face first about four steps. Lived through that also she is a tough girl.

Yesterday Shawnee comes crying to me pointing at the nose, "my shoe my pink barbie shoe"! Needless to say she had stuck it in her nose. I could see it so i plugged the other side and told her to blow like she blows her nose. Instead of blowing she sucked in. Big mistake Jessica then it was not even visible. For those of you who do not know I have been without a phone all weekend. So I was freaking out. what do i do!!?? So I relaxed and remmebered that my mom and mother-in-law both work at a desk and should get an email. So i emailed both of them. Dayne's mom's work is not far so she got off and was able to come over so that I could call the doctor. they sent us to a ENT in Denison. the whole time in the waiting room she kept telling me, "I'm good momma, its not there anymore I got it out." Fibber! The doc could not even see it that well it was way back that so we held her doen and fished it out. Needless to say she will never put something in her nose again!

Potty Training!!

Potty training is starting to frustrate me. Mainly because I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter who is extremely independent! We will go all day long in panties and she will the go in her panties. Fri and Sat she went in the toilet all day not accidents for two days. I was so happy! Then cam Sunday normally i would have put a diaper on her for church. I thought no she went two days this is day three. I know everyone thinks that they know where this is going but no she stayed dry all at church. I had to get her out of class several times to go and she didn't go and didn't go. No sooner Her daddy walked her to the car she went like stream. Why WHY! ok so I got alittle bit frustrated because I had just sat her on the toilet and she would not go. So I said to her ok I guess your not a big girl anymore. You just let me know when you are ready to be a big girl wear your panties and go in the potty. She wore diapers until this morning when she said no i can't wear a diaper i want big girl panties. Still dry we will see how it goes because we have tried several times today and nothing. Wish me luck everyone!!

Swimming Fun!!

Ok so both of my kids love the water! Shawnee has no fear and that is a little scary!!
